Partners

The SADC TFCA FF is an initiative intended to be funded by various International Cooperation Partners working with the SADC Secretariat, with an initial focus on pooled resources from public donors. The long-term vision is to diversify the sources of funding including private and philanthropic donors, with an initial target of raising at least €100 million for conservation and development in TFCAs.

The German Financial Cooperation of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), with funding administered through KfW Development Bank, provided  initial  funding to the SADC TFCA FF of up to € 44 million.

Join the SADC TFCA Financing Facility by contributing towards conservation action in TFCAs!
Tried and tested re-granting system, no set-up delays, reduced transaction costs, benefit from the vast experience of IUCN and the PMU in implementing re-granting projects in TFCAs.
We support partnerships for conservation and development-oriented action implemented through NGOs, Government entities and Community-based Organisations (CBOs).
